Every Oogie Games Party is unique and a little different with something for all ages. Below is a list of FAQ's that will cover most of the questions we get on a regular basis.
What does every Party include?
-20 Party Invitations
-1 Sheet Pizza (24 slices)
-2 two-liters of Coke
-Paper Plates, Napkins, Cups and Utensils
-Up to 20 guests (we can allow a few more non-gamers as well like parents, adults, relatives)
-An Oogie Games' Host to swap games, help the kids and attend to the parent's needs
How much does the party package cost?
- A 3 hour party is $250 + tax.
- We need a $50 deposit at the time of reservation. At the time of reservation you will be able to select your date and time of your party depending on availability.
Can I reserve my party online or over the phone?
Each Oogie Games location gets a lot of requests every day for party times. Unfortunately, because of the confusion that was caused by people not following up or forgetting to come to the store to make their deposit, we now require all parties to be booked in person in the store where you'd like to have your party. Plus how else are you going to get the invitations?
What can I bring?
Oogie Games allows our party guests to bring any additional snacks, drinks and/or party favors that they would like. We only ask that we keep them in the designated areas so gaming areas don't get salty and/or sticky.
What if I want more of Pizza or Pop?
We will be happy to order more pizza for your at $25/ sheet and provide more Coke at $1.99 per two-liter. Please let us know ahead of time so we can arrange with the pizzeria and have all the food delivered at once.
What about someone with Allergies?
We deal with this one a lot. Please let us know if there are any allergies and we will contact the pizzeria to see what can be done.
What if I need more invitations?
Just ask! We understand that not all invitees will attend so if you need an extra 5 or 10 invites, we'll be happy to provide those at no extra cost.
What happens if more/less people show up?
In order to make it as easy as possible, our party prices are locked in. If you have less than 20 people attending, the price doesn't change. In order to ensure that there is enough food and drinks for everyone there may be a charge for additional people.
Which video game systems do you have?
We have Xbox360, Playstation3 and Nintendo Wii systems hooked up to every TV to give the greatest selection of fun party games possible.
Can I have retro systems?
As long as you let us know when you book the party we'll do our best to have your favorite retro systems ready!
Do we have to celebrate a birthday? What about group outings? Can you handle Bachelor, Bachelorette or Diaper Parties?Anything else?
Our private party rooms can be used for any occasion you can imagine. In the last year we have hosted corporate team building events, bachelor/bachelorette parties and more!
What games do you have to play?
After running hundreds of parties, we have a good selection of fun games for parties for girls/boys/men/women of any age. If you have specific titles that you want for your party, just let us know when you book the party and we'll do our best to have them ready to go. This also applies if there are games you don't want them to play. We will switch games from time to time but try to limit that so that everyone gets as much playing time as possible and aren't waiting up to 5 minutes for a new game to load.
What is the time line of a 3 hour party?
-The party starts with everyone playing games! For the safety of children involved, we request that once the party starts they remain in the room and do not wander the store.
-Our attendant will setup the pizza, Coke, plates and cups after approximately 2.5 hours
-When the food is being served, we will turn off the TV's and begin cleaning that side of the room in preparation for the next party. The gaming part of the event is over and now the focus is on eating, presents and the boy/girl celebrating their special day.
-If you are serving cake and doing presents, we will be happy to assist however we can with plates, utensils and cleaning up the area.
-At the end of the party (3 hours), our employees will begin cleaning the food area in preparation for the next special event. If you need assistance at that time with getting things out to your vehicle, please don't hesitate to ask and we'll be happy to help.
At the end of our party do you just kick us out?
We'll usually give the kids' playing games a few minutes to finish up at the end of the party. However, we have a 15-20 minute cleaning routine to prepare the room for our next guests. In this time if you need to use the room to gather the presents and leftovers, we'll be happy to work with you. In order to start the next party on time, however, we will need to have the room cleared, cleaned and ready to go as quickly as possible.
What happens if something is damaged?
Accidents will happen and there are times when controllers get dropped or something happens that results in broken equipment. We figure that is part of the cost of doing business. If we determine it is a malicious act of vandalism or someone is disregarding the rules for the party room and that causes damage, we will charge you for the replacement value of the item.
How can I give you feedback both good or bad on my experience?
At the conclusion of each party we provide a “Post Party Survey” and would like to know how we did. If you leave your contact info we'll not only call to address any concerns but also enter you in a drawing to win a free party.
